9:50: arrival of the Polish delegation - pickup at the train station - walk to our office - short presentation of our work to the colleagues form Poland, Netherlands and UK
check-in of the colleagues from Poland

free afternoon: different sightseeing offers to choose

18:30: airport pickup of the colleagues from Greece - hotel check-in
dinner close to the conference place

Tuesday
5th April

9:00 meeting / working session

  • introduction to the history and presence of the social life in Austria and Salzburg
  • our work and efforts: every organisation presents their activities
  • presentation of the "Creative Steps Cooking Book"
  • the next steps in our project
  • facing the end: what must be realized till the end of June regarding our guidlines
  • duties until our last meeting in Poland

13:00 lunch

15:00 reading the city 1: a visit of some urban hotspots that marks the social and cultural life in the history and presence of Salzburg; a look at successful and failed forms of social integration.

19:30 dinner in an old Salzburg inn

Wednesday
6th April

9:15 conference at the Salzburg city library:
"activities in the field of social inclusion in Salzburg"

  • welcome and introduction by Helmut Windinger, the director of the city library and president of the Austrian Library Organisation
  • "Apropos" - a Salzburg street paper project: presented by Michaela Gründler
  • "writing & selfawareness" - a meeting with Walter Müller, author and tutor of creative writing workshops
  • "Spektrum" - an organisation for kids and youth in Salzburg. presented by Thomas Schuster
  • conclusions and discussions: The relevance of these activities for our own organisations and our project

13:00 lunch

19:00 festive evening in "Die Blaue Gans" ("The blue goose") - in the cellar of an ancient inn in the centre of Salzburg

  • words of welcome by Robert Luckmann, head of the departement of adult education of the federal state of Salzburg.
  • a musical journey through Austrian traditional and classical music - performed by the "Ausseer Bradlmusi"
  • dinner with typical Austrian food
  • our creative steps: singing, dancing ....
